Job Description: Systems Requirements Analyst:

• Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, managing and maintaining software and data mapping requirements
• Facilitate working sessions, articulate requirements, make recommendations for process and business flows, develop consensus on requirements, perform analysis of requirements, documents requirements via the approved process and templates, and manage requirements throughout the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, translate Product and/or Marketing Requirements into Functional Requirements.
• Define complex data mapping requirements between widely disparate systems.
• Utilize a textual Use Case methodology to determine functional completeness of system.
• Work with software developers, both in-house and remote, to guarantee that implementation is consistent with requirements. Guarantee the overall quality of Release Features by reviewing Designs, Test Plans and Performance Test Plans.
• Interface with internal units needing functional information about the application, including Support, Training and Marketing.

Requirements:

• B.S. Computer Sciences or related technical discipline
• 3+ years experience writing requirements and use cases that capture specifications for large, complex, multi-threaded applications, products and projects
• Demonstrated experience in eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing complex data mapping requirements between widely disparate systems
• At least 3 full life-cycle releases of an enterprise software application or product as a requirements author
• Experience on at least one project in leading the requirements management analysis and management activities across all phases of a software development life cycle
• Experience with requirements analysis, requirements change management and meeting facilitation skills
• Experience working with structured design methods
• Knowledge of development methods and practices in a multi-platform environment
• Proficiency with the following productivity tools: MS Office, Visio and MS Project
• Excellent and concise analytical as well as problem solving skills
• Ability to negotiate, persuade and compromise
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt proactively to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment

Preferred:

• Experience working on one or more applications developed on a .NET / JAVA n-tier environment
• Experience developing data models, data flow diagrams, use cases, activity diagrams and entity relationship diagrams for large, complex or multiple concurrent projects
