Job Description:
§ Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems (Ceridian Source 500 for HRIS/Payroll) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource/Payroll department planning and activities.
§ Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff.
§ Uses MS Access and MS Excel to aggregate and report information in a timely manner.
§ Works with Human Resources personnel to design new or modify existing HRIS applications to meet changing demands.
§ Will serve as HR department liaison to MIS/IT function for maintaining the integration of company wide systems for HR, Payroll, Finance and other internal business applications.

- Provide ongoing data extraction, manipulation and analysis, with the purpose of translating business questions into information deliverables.
- Using strong Database, SQL server, Crystal Report, HTML, VBA, Access and Excel skills to gather, consolidate and analyze HR Data.
- Identify issues, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses.
- Provide analytical information to make business decisions.
- Format analytical presentations into executive-level presentations.
- Conduct research to identify new and innovative ways to utilize the company’s data.
- Provide research, financial modeling, and other assistance for corporate development activities.
- Administration of transactional databases using SQL queries.
- Performs database administration and management activities including creating, modify SQL server database, install updates, test, troubleshoot and resolve database production issues relating to Payroll, Benefits, employee data and overall Ceridian Database using data management tools and utilities.
- Create views, triggers and store procedures for different groups including finance, IS application, IS communication switch board, Facilities, Exchange Server, PeopleLookup, Online org chart, Remedy, Educational Services, IS servers group, and IT Client services.
- Responsible for the administration, design, development and support of HR website.
- Maintain, revise and update current code in Ceridian, ViDesktop, HR web site, web surveyor and PeopleClik.
- Troubleshooting, fixing bugs and improving system functionality.
- Works with others, assists in problem statements and proposed solutions to system-related problems and issues.
- Works closely with users and other IS project team members
