Analog Engineer : Medical device or related biomedical experience is highly desired

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Analog Engineer is responsible for assisting in the electrical design and development of an implantable defibrillator.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the design and development for the implantable defibrillator system.
- Participate in development of low-noise ECG amplifiers, RF telemetry, switch-mode power supply design, and high voltage circuit design
- Involvement in all activities of the system, from custom ASIC requirements to hybrid/board level development, through to qualification and production
- Interface with vendors for critical component selection
- Comply with all approved design standards
- Comply with all design related standards as developed by external regulatory groups
- Comply with department and corporate quality initiatives
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Electrical Engineering is required. An advanced degree is highly desired
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in analog circuit development. Low-power design or high voltage circuit design desirable
- Medical device or related biomedical experience is highly desired
- ASIC development experience is a plus
- UML knowledge.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
