Analog Engineer : Medical device or related biomedical experience is highly desired

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Analog Engineer is responsible for assisting in the electrical design and development of an implantable defibrillator. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the design and development for the implantable defibrillator system.
  • Participate in development of low-noise ECG amplifiers, RF telemetry, switch-mode power supply design, and high voltage circuit design
  • Involvement in all activities of the system, from custom ASIC requirements to hybrid/board level development, through to qualification and production
  • Interface with vendors for critical component selection
  • Comply with all approved design standards
  • Comply with all design related standards as developed by external regulatory groups
  • Comply with department and corporate quality initiatives

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is required. An advanced degree is highly desired
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in analog circuit development. Low-power design or high voltage circuit design desirable
  • Medical device or related biomedical experience is highly desired
  • ASIC development experience is a plus
  • UML knowledge.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
