Software Engineer II : Remedy Developer

Responsibilities:

• Participates in requirements analysis. 
• Plays a significant role in the definition of the high level design and detail design of software.  
• Develops system diagrams and defines parameters of interface functionality. 
• Analyzes problems and determines solutions to problems. 
• Develops robust and fault tolerant applications.  
• Develops system and program specifications.
• Plans and implements software projects. 
• Designs and Implements applications within the ARS platform.  
• Devises solutions to system problems. 
• Maintains, revises and updates current code, including troubleshooting, fixing bugs and improving system functionality.  
• Working with others, assists in devising problem statements and proposed solutions to system-related problems and issues.  
• Participates in the creation of the integration test plans. 
• Ensures project technical documentation items are identified and completed.
• Articulates and communicates specifics of software designed with project teams. 

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years demonstrated experience in the sotware engineering field, plus a College degree in related field. 
• Strong experience using BMC Remedy ARS development platform.
• Strong experience using relational database systems.
• Strong experience utilizing the concepts of software engineering best practices and principles. 
• Experience using structured programming and object-oriented techniques.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle. 
• Demonstrated experience being involved in various phases of software development life cycle. 
• Strong experience designing software systems. 
• Strong experience creating high level and detailed designs. 
• Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
