Seeking an electronic engineer with broad based analog design experience to develop test and measurement products for the electrical, network, fiber and communication markets. This position requires the ability to perform full product development of small projects to developing analog circuits interfaced to digital hardware utilized in larger team developed products.
Responsibilities include working on all aspects of product lifecycle development. You should be able to work with minimal instruction and be capable of developing product specifications and schedules from marketing requirement documents when required. Essential duties include conducting trade studies and analysis in order to choose the correct circuit implementation and optimal components. Produce block diagrams of the design and allocate the requirements to the lower level sub-systems and assemblies. Your people skills and ability to work well with others are just as important as your technical ability.
Qualifications
• BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience (required)
• Analog circuit design experience with power circuits and/or magnetics.
• Design experience with A to D, D to A, differential amplifiers, filters, etc. and general analog detection techniques of RF and/or low speed high voltage applications.
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to supervise PCB layout of their circuits.
• Ability to interface analog circuits to digital and/or micro-controller circuits.
• Knowledge of spice simulators, and the ability to simulate the design prior to PCB layout.
• Ability to debug analog designs and implement improvements.
• Knowledge of programming a PC in either C or Visual Basic for test purposes a plus.
