Software Engineer Self Taught or with a Degree!

We are looking to expand the tech team with qualified, motivated geeks. This is a newly public and rapidly growing company with a fun, fast paced workplace. The optimal applicant is someone who enjoys geeking out on a project and is comfortable with quickly adapting to changes and learning new things. Whether you're completely self-taught or have a degree in Computer Science, we're only concerned that you have the skills needed to perform the job.

Some of the primary duties of the job are as follows:
* Working with a web designer on the back end portions of our web properties
* Maintaining internal web applications
* Managing all internal Windows machines and assisting office staff with technical needs
* Participating in development of new, cutting edge web applications
* Managing and maintaining large internal databases

Required job skills:
* Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
* Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
* Familiarity with FreeBSD or another *nix OS

Desired skills that would help you stand out:
* Experience with AJAX

* Experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications
* Experience with large (10MM+ records) relational databases
